Dr. Fred Ballweg was raised on a traditional dairy farm in Sauk City, WI. He is a 1993 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Valley Veterinary Clinic welcomed him to the veterinary team in October of 2009. Prior to starting at VVC, Fred practiced at DePere Veterinary Service for 16 years where he was an owner for 13 years. Family is very important to Fred, and he & his wife Mary have four children. Some of Fred's interests outside of veterinary medicine include: hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family at their home in De Pere.
